WELGRO®CUAJE is a balanced formulation with high Boron (B) and Molybdenum (Mo) content, with high solubility, for foliar and root application. Due to the source of both elements, the formulation is sodium (Na) free, being suitable for the application in sodium rich soils and sensible crops. The balance between Boron (B) and Molybdenum (Mo), is linked with flowering and fruit setting. Boron (B) takes part in the fecundation and the enlargement of the pollinic tube, being the boron content in the reproductive organs (anther, stigma, ovary) specially high. In addition, Boron (B), is linked with higher endogenous auxin level (growing regulators) in the plant, which function is to keep the pollen fertility in order to ensure a satisfactory pollination and a normal fruit development during the first formation stages. The lack of auxins produces unnormal flowers and fruits development.
On the other hand, Molybdenum (Mo), takes part in the plant nitrogen assimilation, before it usesfor aminoacid synthesis and for the conversion from organic phosphorus forms to inorganic forms which are assimilable for the plants. Boron (B) and Molybdenum (Mo) uptake is boosted by the phosphorus contained in WELGRO®CUAJE formulation, making their assimilation quicker as well as applying phosphorous in an essential moment, at flowering and fruit setting time.
Therefore, WELGRO®CUAJE formulation, gives a balanced way the essential elements during flowering time, in order to ensure good fruit setting and avoiding too early fruit set fall. Due to that, it is recommended for all the crops, specially, those with staggered flowering (horticultural crops, strawberries and cucurbits).
